CAPITAL PROJECT
The Homeland Tyes House or Houses
Our long-term Capitol Project is to purchase a Homeland Tyes House in Ireland that will be our headquarters and provide lodging for project volunteers. We plan to purchase that property no later than November 2027. The following are the types of property we are planning to purchase.

This property is located at Milltown on the outskirts of Dingle town at the beginning of Slea Head drive. The property is a large, detached house back off the road & consists of 7 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and dining room. The rear of the property has a garage and small cabin. The price is approximately $900,000.

This is a split-level detached residence on elevated site of eight acres, located on Tullig Hill, only five minutes from Killarney town and 15 minutes from Kerry Airport. The property has 7,500 sq. ft. over three levels with a detached double garage. It also has four independent one bedroom self-contained apartments (three at first floor and one at basement level). Property was constructed in the early 1980's. for self-sufficient multi-family living. Price is approximately $850,000.
Our Ideal Property
Our ideal property would have 7-10 bedrooms. Most if not, all should be ensuite or easily added. It should be close to train and bus lines in the south or southwest part of Ireland. Ideally be close to a town of at least 3,000. The building must have cooking facilities, a common area for gatherings and adequate storage. Ideally there would be an owner’s quarters. There should be no restrictions on having multiple guests stay throughout the year. We may be looking for a person to be a year-round the caretaker for the year. We could arrange for the caretaker to have multiple weeks off in the summer. It should have outside storage and enough space for greenhouse facilities. Will consider making modest improvements to the property. Priced at or below $1 million.
